Welcome to Cocktails & Candles! By booking a session, purchasing a ticket or participating in one of our workshops, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before attending your session.
1. Workshop Participation & Liability

Cocktails & Candles provides a creative candle-making experience where participants design and create their own decorative, cocktail-inspired candles. The activity is for educational and recreational purposes only. We do not sell finished candles as retail products.

All materials and candles created during this workshop are for decorative use only and not intended for consumption or use as food or drink.

By taking part, participants agree to:

Follow all safety instructions provided by the instructors.

Handle hot wax, tools and materials with care.

Ensure that any candle made in the workshop is used safely and kept out of reach of children and pets.

Cocktails & Candles will take all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and high-quality materials. However, by booking a workshop, participants acknowledge that they engage in the activity at their own risk and that Cocktails & Candles is not responsible for injuries, burns, or damages resulting from failure to follow safety guidance or from misuse of materials after the workshop.

Participants are advised to allow candles to cool completely before transport and to use them decoratively and responsibly at home. Cocktails & Candles is not liable for accidents or misuse occurring after the session.

Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by our team. Failure to do so may result in removal from the session without refund.

All participants must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by a responsible adult if aged 16+ (unless stated otherwise).

Workshops held in Rua Red do not permit alcohol on premises.
2. General Conduct

You agree to conduct yourself respectfully and responsibly during the workshop.

Cocktails & Candles reserves the right to refuse service or remove individuals from a session for disruptive or unsafe behaviour.
3. Booking Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the workshop.

Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 72 hours before the session to qualify for a credit or reschedule. No-shows or late cancellations will not be refunded.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you, and no refund or credit will be provided.

Workshop bookings are non-refundable, but you may reschedule to another date.

Cocktails & Candles reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops in the event of low attendance, staff availability or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a reschedule or store credit.
4. Private Booking Policy

By booking us privately you and all your guests agree to our Workshop Participation And Liability Terms.

Private bookings are available for birthdays, team events, hens parties and other special occasions.

A 50% depositor full payment is required to confirm your private booking date and time.

The remaining balance is due before the event.
-
All private bookings require each participant to complete our Private Booking Form.

By submitting the form, participants consent to being contacted by phone or email regarding their booking and event details.

Private bookings may be held in the participant’s home or chosen venue. However, Cocktails And Candles is not liable for any damage to personal property, furniture, flooring or any other belongings before, during, or after the workshop. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure the workspace is suitable and protected..

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event are eligible for a credit or reschedule. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.

A minimum number of participants apply to all private bookings.

Fixed Quote – Once your booking is confirmed, the agreed price is fixed and cannot be reduced if fewer guests attend.

Reductions – If some guests are unable to attend, the booking fee remains the same. At Cocktails And Candles we prepare materials, staffing and venue space based on the confirmed numbers.

Increases – Extra guests may be added (subject to availability) and will be charged at the same rate agreed with the booking.

You are welcome to bring food or drinks for private events but Cocktails And Candles does not provide refrigeration or kitchen facilities.
5. Property Damage

Any intentional damage to property or workshop materials will be charged to the responsible participant.

Please handle all materials, including glassware and fragrance oils, with care.
6. Photos & Marketing
-
We may take photos or videos during the session for marketing purposes.
-
By attending, you grant us permission to use any images taken during the session unless you notify us in advance.
